A wider question bank
The Unlimited bank grew from 74 to 209 prompts, with new questions about sports, history, currencies, flags, landmarks, rivers, and filming locations. Expeditions prefer a mix of broad themes. Existing question IDs, answers, and scoring were retained.
Source links were added to field notes. Google Analytics and the managed ads.txt redirect were also added.
The first expedition
The initial edition introduced five-round Unlimited games, an unlabelled world map, country search, Classic and Wander, sound, local saves, answer notes, and compact result sharing. Game information and FAQs were added below the map.
The idea behind this edition
The map-first format invites several correct answers and rewards knowledge beyond the most familiar countries.
This edition uses its own question bank, game implementation, sounds, and editorial rarity ratings. Its Daily challenge gives everyone the same five prompts for that UTC date.
Where the geography comes from
The map uses public-domain Natural Earth data through World Atlas. Names, capitals, areas, currencies, and many classifications follow the bundled Mledoze Countries atlas.
Curated trivia questions have explicit scopes and reference links. Membership questions use a stated review date; sports questions specify historical cutoffs. Where a common description can be ambiguous, the question note explains the accepted rule.
The map and its boundaries are illustrative. Political and geographical classifications can differ between sources. Read a clue’s note before assuming that another classification applies.
Keeping games fair and recoverable
The Daily catalogue stores its prompt wording, accepted countries, and explanations independently from Unlimited. Selection is tied to the UTC date. Future catalogue changes should begin on a future date rather than replacing today’s challenge.
Saved games retain their question IDs. The introduction of Daily does not overwrite an existing Unlimited save. Statistics stay on the device where you play.
